Maharashtra Dyslexia Association (MDA) takes great pride in announcing that its Dyslexia Teaching Level Programme is now an IDA Accredited PLUS level programme, the first of its kind in India, for its alignment with the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading (KPS)!
The DYSLEXIA TEACHING LEVEL – IDA ACCREDITED PLUS comprises of the following:
1.The Perceptive & Cognitive Teacher (6 modules-online)
2.The Dyslexia Teacher Training Programme (one year – 120 hours of instruction – synchronous with 70 hours of supervised practicum).
Our dyslexia teacher trainees become specialists in teaching the structure of the written English language and in utilising intensive multisensory therapy techniques designed for students with reading, writing, and/or spelling disorder.
COURSE DURATION: 15 Months – May 2025 to August 2026
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in the English Language & Literature, Education, Special Education, Psychology
