Dyslexia Therapist Training Program

This two-year part-time certificate course is designed in collaboration with the Multisensory Language Training Institute of New Mexico (MLTI-NM) and focuses on equipping trainees with essential skills for dyslexia therapy. The program combines theoretical instruction with practical, hands-on classes. To qualify for certification, participants are required to complete 700 hours of hands-on teaching experience. Graduates receive certificates awarded jointly by MLTI-NM and MDA, signifying their proficiency and readiness to support individuals with dyslexia effectively.

Teacher Training Workshops

MDA provides workshops designed to equip teachers with effective strategies for supporting students with dyslexia and learning disabilities. Focused on early identification and multi-sensory teaching methods, these sessions promote inclusive classrooms, enabling all students to thrive academically and emotionally.

The PASS Reading Enhancement Programme (PREP)

Based on the PASS Theory of Intelligence—Planning, Attention-Arousal, Simultaneous, and Successive Processing—this program incorporates ten diverse tasks tailored to meet individual student needs. Each task features both a global training component and a curriculum-related bridging component, ensuring comprehensive skill development. MDA has successfully implemented PREP for children aged 6 to 12, the program has shown impressive results in enhancing reading abilities.
